The DDoS policy acts in the two situations below:
- Too many connections/requests in a page
Resources contribute to the total number of connections/requests. The 503 error page will show up in this case. Connection and request limits can be set in the console DDoS settings (Settings>DDoS).
- Blocked by internal DDoS policies
When blocked by internal DDoS policies, specific IPs deemed suspicious or abnormal will be blocked for 5 minutes and when they try to access the web server there will be an error page saying the page cannot be accessed.
